When you trust DD214 Direct with your order, we take responsibility for navigating the military records system on your behalf. If your requested records exist and can legally be obtained, we will obtain them. In some cases where original records were destroyed or lost, we will obtain equivalent official documents that may be used to claim benefits.

If we are unable to obtain the military records you earned or an official equivalent document, we will refund 100% of the service fees you paid to DD214 Direct. In cases of a separate OMPF request where those records cannot be reconstructed, the service fee for the OMPF will be refunded in full.
If we determine you are not a valid requestor for the documents you ordered, we will work with you to identify a valid requestor or we will order the documents to which you are entitled under the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA).
If we are unable to obtain the military records you earned or an official equivalent document, we will refund 100% of the service fees you paid to DD214 Direct. In cases of a separate OMPF request where those records cannot be reconstructed, the service fee for the OMPF will be refunded in full.
